Like teenagers everywhere, this immature Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) was just hanging about. I looked out over breakfast and there she was! Nice to see our national bird thriving.

Barred Owl in the Morning
I caught this Barred Owl (Strix varia) just as he flew up from having a bath in the lake. His feathers were still wet and he spent about ten minutes preening and drying out in the early morning sun. Beautiful!
