Took some photos in south Florida recently. These are both from Pass-a-Grille near the beach. The flies were taken as a three exp. HDR and tone compressed.
This great egret was in a small ornamental square next to a parking lot. I had to maneuver to free the background of car trunks and garbage cans. Note the mating plumage!
Here are two ospreys nesting on a marker pole near Marco Island.
Finally here is a failed attempt at a nocturnal HDR scene. The process enhanced the image noise to an unacceptable degree. This non-HDR version was obtained from a single RAW exposure in the set.
